This page describes the activities centered around Naravoor Mahavishnu Kshetram (NMK), a sacred place built by our ancestors to foster the growth and prosperity of our lineage.
We're excited to grow the Naravoor Mahavishnu Kshetram (NMK) community while staying true to the founding values established by Srimathi Ningileri Thayillath Parvathy Amma and Sri Ayillath Narayanan Nambiar (NTPA-ANN).
Our goal is to strengthen family ties, rekindle ancestral connections, and maintain active relationships among our global community.
All descendants of the temple's founders (NTPA-ANN) and their spouses automatically become members. You can learn more about your family roots and ancestry from the Naravoor Mahavishnu Kshetram Website. Younger family members can trace their lineage through the Ningilery family tree.
There is no payment for membership in the Naravoor Mahavishnu Kshetram community.
We welcome voluntary contributions to support the temple's daily operations, special events, and community outreach programs. These contributions can be made towards: daily Poojas, special Poojas, periodic Festivals, monthly Annadanams (Community meals).
Devotees, as a matter of their faith, often make monetary offerings to the deity, essentially a donation or contribution, traditionally in the form of cash dropped into a collection box (Bhandaram കാണിക്ക പെട്ടി) at the temple. For convenience and security, we also offer an E-Bhandaram facility for digital payments. This option is available both within the temple and remotely for those who cannot visit the temple in person.
We've launched a new WhatsApp Community, "Naravoor Mahavishnu Kshetram (NMK)," to unite various temple-related groups under one umbrella (see diagram below). The current groups are:
NMK Members: Descendants of (NTPA-ANN) to access community announcements.
NMK Temple Mgmt: Managing Committee members that manage the temple affairs.
NMK Chapter Mgmt: Chapter Leaders that manage the community Chapters (see below).
NMK Ningileri: Members of the wider Ningileri family for chatting and interaction.
To foster stronger connections within our community, we've formed Chapters in various regions. Our current Chapters, each led by a dedicated leader, are listed below. These leaders play a crucial role in fostering local connections, organizing events, and providing support to members. We're continually working to expand our Chapter network to reach more members worldwide and to better serve our growing global community.
Kannur (plus Kuthuparamba, northern Kerala): Prashanti Satish
Kozhikode: Meenakshi NT
Ernakulam (plus Palakkad, southern Kerala): Muralikrishnan NT

These Chapter Leaders will be the ambassadors of the family temple, Naravoor Mahavishnu Kshetram, to bring happiness, peace, and prosperity closer to the community members residing in different parts of the world. Towards this purpose, they will leverage the existing NMK network to organize activities such as:
Expand our community by involving younger generations in exploring their family roots, ancestry, and traditions.
Promote upcoming events and activities of the temple as provided in the Facebook Page and WhatsApp groups.
Host Chapter meeting where members can connect with each other in person and build lasting relationships.
Guide members in sharing their experiences and offering support to address social issues like drug abuse, crime against women & children, online blackmail, cybercrime, extortion, etc.
Identify accomplished and experienced members to guide and mentor the younger members.
Help the younger members regarding their education, employment, and career guidance.
Facilitate marriage alliances, within the community and beyond; NMK community now embraces all nationalities, cultures, religions, and castes.
Form new Chapters in areas experiencing membership growth.
